Could anyone out there help me incorporate the dow jones market temperature (activity). I would like to only find stocks that are coinciding with a POSITIVE stock market. I have seen this symbol ^IXIC but I don't know how to apply it to my filter. Whatever anyone can do for me I will be most appreciative. Thanks.

 TheRumpledOne,

Explain to me please what is happening here to create the green arrow indicators to appear. I did the backtest and it showed very very well. Can you brief me on what you wrote and what it created. Thank you.

I don't understand what you are asking about?

I don't do SF backtesting so I have no idea.

You wrote me a filter related to my help question concerning how to embed a positive market sentiment whether it be NASDAQ or DJIA and to give me ONLY stocks in that positive environment. You did do that, and I appreciated your response / filter. Forget about the backt testing. But, I was just asking what is happening in your filter that you wrote me to create the results I received. The line you created was: ind(^IXIC, close) above ind(^IXIC, ma(200)) . Bottomline is, could you explain what this line is doing.
Your answer back would be very appreciated. Thank you.
