I'd buy some options, but the problem is, you never know which ones will go up. They don't all move.

I like Apple but I myself don't see anything that I would touch at this point. If Apple posts great earnings then I would expect a open gap up then a run. Might see a little run up on some who think they can get it before earnings pop.
IMHO.

The trick with the weeklies is, not sure if I should buy the week B4 or the week of (earnings).
In AAPL's case, I'd have to buy Monday and sell Tuesday.

One thing about APPL . I brought a new 13 " Macbook Pro yesterday. It sure is fast.
Chart looks to be breaking out on Bollinger Bands expansion. Should be a good buy for you.

My guess is, the May 1 $130 AAPL calls will move exponentially.
Yesterday the range was 2.98 - 3.53.
