Even worse - now at $9.80. That would have been a $1700 short trade profit rather than the $410 I settled for.
Patience is truly a virtue I lack.

Limit order: STO 300 shares of DUST at $33.00. Not sure if it will get this high but no worries if I don't get the fill.

End of February - I'll be taking the family on vacation for the next week and will not be trading so I thought it was time for a review of recent trading using this approach. In early November I switched to using a modified Van Tharp position sizing approach, after taking a few hard trades because I was overpositioned. Dates are when the trade was entered.

I got a new signal to short TVIX on Friday after the close - I am already in a large XIV position so I don't want to add to it directionally by shorting TVIX, but I will paper-trade this one here:
Short 2500 shares of TVIX at the open.
PAPER TRADE UPDATE - STO 2500 shares of TVIX at $4.66.
BTC 2500 shares of TVIX at $4.46 for a gain of $500 (no commissions since this was a paper trade).

GTC limit order to close the open YINN trade at $18.90 while I am on vacation. This trade was not from any nightly signal but rather from another filter that I use for general stocks. This trade has been in place for way too long so any profitable exit this week would be a given.
